This award honors an ESIP Partner Organization that best exemplifies the spirit of ESIP in one or more areas, through the sharing of a success story. This award will be given annually at the Winter Meeting. The partner organization will receive a plaque and two free ESIP meeting registrations.
This year, we are looking for partner organizations that have supported the 2022 ESIP theme of Data for All People: From Data Generation to Use and Understanding. We are looking for ESIP partners who have:
- Helped the Earth science community enhance data discoverability and/or lowered barriers to data access, and/or
- Formed or strengthened collaborations and/or worked to increase the inclusivity and diversity for the ESIP Community.
How do I nominate an organization for the Award? Fill out this nomination form by the deadline of 10/31/2022.
Who is eligible for the Award? All ESIP partner organizations are eligible.
Can I nominate my own organization? Yes, you can nominate another organization or one that you are associated with.
Who is the Awards Chair? The Partnership Committee Chair.
Is an Award given every year? The Partnership Committee may choose to not give an award in any particular year. All awardees must be approved by the ESIP Leadership.
