What we're working on

The group continues work started in past ESIP Meetings to bridge ESIP work by the marine data cluster, the semantic technology cluster, the science on schema.org cluster and others to explore potential further engagement with the UN Decade for Ocean Science for Sustainable Development. This is important and of interest in light of an exponential increase in Ocean data and digital resources and a need: to connect existing local, national, and regional digital systems and infrastructures along with independent digital initiatives; and for a Clearing-House Mechanism for the Transfer of Marine Technology.
