Welcome CDF as an ESIP Collaboration Area!

The Council of Data Facilities (CDF) is joining ESIP as a cluster. The group is a federation of geoscience data facilities sharing experiences, discussing common concerns, and collaborating on data infrastructure for Earth system science. They will be meeting this upcoming Friday, September 9 at 3 p.m. EDT.  Read more about our new Collaboration Area.

Supporting NOAA's Environmental Data Management Workshop (Sept 12-16)

ESIP staff will be all hands on deck to support NOAA's annual EDM Workshop. We will be around but focused on the meeting, so thank you for your patience with slower email and Slack replies next week.

The following week, we will get a chance to meet up in person for a staff retreat. Busy month!

ESIP Finance 101

Each month the ESIP Program Committee gathers to share updates on committee and cluster happenings. For their September meeting on Tuesday, Sept 13 at 2 p.m. EDT, the Program Committee is offering a special session open to anyone in the ESIP community to go over the basics of our nonprofit's finances. Head to the Community Calendar for event details.
