2023 January ESIP Meeting

We have opened the session proposal portal for the 2023 January ESIP Meeting to be held online January 23-27. The deadline for submission is 11:59 p.m. PST on Friday, November 11. Review the proposal details:

The 2023 theme is “Opening Doors to Open Science” and the meeting agenda will be available later this fall. Once again, ESIP will be able to offer virtual design support for all session organizers.


ESIP Partner of the Year Award – Extended to Nov 18

As an organization of organizations, ESIP wants to make sure to highlight the contributions of our partners. Learn more about the award and send in a submission by Friday, Nov 18. 

AWS Presenting at This Week's IT&I Webinar

Join us Thursday at 3 p.m. EST for the Information Technology and Interoperability (IT&I) Tech Dive Webinar “AWS for Research: Stepping into the Cloud” with guest speaker Scott Friedman from the Higher Education Research Group at Amazon Web Services (AWS). IT&I is co-hosted by ESIP and USGS Community for Data Integration (CDI).

CODATA Call for Papers (Nov 15)

The Data Science Journal is seeking papers for a special collection devoted to “Data Management Planning across Disciplines and Infrastructures.” Papers should focus on work related to Data Management Plans and their implementation, not data management per se.
