Check out the 2022 January Meeting session schedule

Register now for the ESIP January 2022 Meeting that's happening virtually Tuesday, January 18 through Friday, January 21. The agenda is up and the early bird registration deadline is Friday, December 31.
 

Get ready to vote for ESIP's Leadership

The nominations are in. Review candidates and statements on the ESIP Wiki. The Partner Assembly will vote in mid-December and we'll officially welcome returning and new Board of Directors and Committee leaders at the Partner Assembly Business Meeting during the January Meeting (Mark your calendars: The event closes out the conference Friday, January 21, 2022.)
 

Expanding access: ESIP January 2022 scholarships (Due Jan 5)

As part of ESIP's on-going commitment to increase the diversity in the ESIP community, we are pleased to continue our program to offer complimentary registration to the 2022 ESIP January Meeting for up to 15 students who identify as Black, Latinx, or Native American. Graduate students, recent graduates (within three years of graduation), and students in their final year of an undergraduate degree in a related field are eligible to apply. Apply by Friday January 5, 2022 and please share this opportunity with others.

Public and open OGC Data Quality Workshop (Attend Dec 8)

The Open Geopatial Consortium (OGC) is holding a workshop “Towards FAIR data quality measures for spatial data” on Wednesday, December 8 at 3:30 pm EST. The event is part of OGC member programming but they have made the workshop available to non-members as well. Register  with 2112tc_invited to get in for free (OGC members are free by default). 

 



The Data Readiness Cluster wants to understand user requirements for open environmental data that can enable artificial intelligence and machine learning applications. 

 Help set the standard for AI-ready, open environmental data. Take this voluntary and anonymous survey (about 20–25 minutes to complete): bit.ly/ai-ready-data
