This is the second installment in the ESIP Innovator series. This interview is with Roberto De Almeida, PyDap creator and recently, Ocean Data Engineer at MarinExplore. Rob's background is as a Ph.D. oceanographer and climate scientist, but he became a tool developer to reduce hurdles that scientist face – very ESIP! For more on his bio, check out this interview he did with MarinExplore when he joined.
We talked about the science data as big data, a bit of tech talk about MarinExplore.org and wrapped up talking about the evolution of PyDap. You can find Rob on the web here: http://blog.dealmeida.net/
