More about the EnviroSensing Cluster
The EnviroSensing Cluster was formed in 2012 as a community of mostly NSF-LTER network and data managers. It has since grown to include a wide range of scientific and agency participants, but still remains focused on its mission of pursuing best practices and solutions for in-situ sensor observation of environmental processes. The Cluster produced a Best Practices document for sensor network deployments in 2014, and assembles once a month for web calls on cluster projects and guest presentations. The EnviroSensing Cluster is an open, inclusive, and collaborative community that seeks to better science and engineering related to observations in the natural environment.

How to Get Involved: Subscribe to the EnviroSensing mailing list and engage in monthly telecons advertised at http://wiki.esipfed.org/index.php/EnviroSensing_Cluster. Contact the co-chairs, Scotty Strachan (strachan@unr.edu) and Renée Brown (rfbrown@unm.edu), if you have any questions.
