Be an Ignite Speaker at the AGU Fall Meeting (Due Nov 1)
Be bold. Be quick. Share your story.
The popular science storytelling event Ignite@AGU is back for the AGU Fall Meeting 2022 in Chicago this December. In the Ignite format (five minutes with 20 auto-advancing slides), presenters pull in humor, personal stories, vivid images and clear communication to share insights about their work.
The live event will be Wednesday, December 14 at a local venue. Apply to be a speaker by Tuesday, November 1. Know someone who would be a great Ignite speaker? Share the opportunity with them!
Next IT&I Tech Dive Webinar: Meet openEO (Oct 13)
openEO is a modern high-level API aiming to define earth observation processing workflows independent from the infrastructure in which they are processed. It is based on the concept of virtual data cubes. A broad ecosystem of open-source client and server implementations has evolved around it.
Join us for the Information Technology and Interoperability (IT&I) Tech Dive Webinar with openEO and the USGS Community for Data Integration (CDI) this Thursday, October 13 at 1 p.m. EDT.
ESIP Awards for Collaboration and Impact
Community is the heart of ESIP — and outstanding people and organizations are at the heart of community. Each year, ESIP recognizes a handful of individuals and one of our partners for their contributions to the Earth science data community in the last year. Can you help us give credit where credit is due?
We are seeking applications (due Monday, October 31) for the Martha Maiden Award and our ESIP Partner of the Year.
