We are doing a few things to ensure that the ESIP Meeting content is available beyond the meeting:

Science Gateways Bootcamp: Strategies for Developing, Operating, and Sustaining Your Gateway
The Science Gateways Community Institute (SGCI) is now accepting applications for their next Bootcamp, which will take place May 13-17, 2019, in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Bootcamp will help you and your team:
Learn how to communicate effectively about your gateway,
Identify who cares about your gateway and potential new user groups,
Scope out and learn how to pitch to potential funders that will put you on a path to sustainability,
Conduct your own usability test on the spot,
Network and establish relationships with others doing similar work.
ESIP Staff, along with several ESIP Lab teams, were able to take part in a previous SGCI Bootcamp and found the experience to be extremely valuable. Learn more and apply now here.
Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Special Session at Pecora/ISRSE Conferences
OGC will have a special session at the colocated Pecora and ISRSE conferences to be held October 6-11, 2019 in Baltimore, Maryland. The OGC session theme is “Geospatial Fusion: Observations, Features, Decisions.” Abstracts are due by January 25, 2019 and should include the OGC session ID “SP24” as a keyword. Learn more here.

Sign up via a simple web-based form at https://eartharxiv.github.io/ to receive monthly summary emails highlighting what has been submitted to EarthArXiv. Currently, EarthArXiv includes more than 600 pre- and post-prints.
Frontiers of Big Data, Modeling, and Simulation in Urban Sustainability Workshop and Webcast
The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine invite you to attend a workshop and webcast on January 30-31, 2019 that will bring together the emerging interdisciplinary network of practitioners, business leaders, academics, and policy makers using data for urban sustainability. The workshop will focus on identifying areas where cities can partner with the scientific community to address challenges related to air and water quality, transportation and physical infrastructure, and sustainable inclusive communities. POPGRID Data Collaborative Releases New Web Site and Mapping Tool
