Data Readiness Cluster
ACTIVE
What we do: Define community guidelines on data readiness for artificial intelligence by connecting data providers and AI practitioners.
Why we do it: Open environmental data is crucial for artificial intelligence; improving data readiness will accelerate responsible AI development.
About this Cluster
The Data Readiness Cluster fosters the collaboration between agencies, academia, and industries around data-centric artificial intelligence (AI) for Earth and space sciences.
The cluster develops and maintains community guidelines on AI-ready data to support the development of responsible AI applications using open environmental data. The group is also actively engaging with other scientific disciplines to broaden the adoption of the AI-ready data checklist developed by the cluster.
