Community Ontology Repository (COR) Cluster

ON HIATUS

What we do: Provide a simple repository for users to try out semantic technologies, understand benefits, and explore possible applications.

Why we do it: Ontology and semantics are crucial to resolve inconsistent terminology, enabling machines to integrate, discover, and understand diverse datasets for effective research.

About the COR

Hosted by ESIP, the COR is available for any member of ESIP or the public to test the creation and management ontologies and vocabularies for Earth science and related domains. Other submissions may be removed without warning by the administrator.

The COR is a deployment of the MMI Ontology Registry and Repository (ORR) software. ORR documentation can be found at https://mmisw.org/orrdoc/.

The COR is supported by ESIP’s staff and the Semantic Technologies Committee.
