This award is to honor an ESIP member organization that best exemplifies the spirit of ESIP in one or more areas, through the sharing of a success story. This award will be given annually at the Winter Meeting. The member organization will receive a plaque.
This year we are looking for member organizations that have supported ESIP’s 2015 – 2020 Strategic Goal #3 (Promote techniques to articulate and measure the socioeconomic value and benefit of Earth science data, information and applications). We are looking for ESIP members who have either:
- been involved in an activity or interacted with ESIP in a manner that has improved the organization’s understanding of the socioeconomic value of Earth science data; or
- contributed to ESIP’s efforts to promote and expand the understanding of the socioeconomic value and benefit of Earth science data, information and applications to the scientific or policymaking communities.
- Nominate your own organization or another using this form, by the nomination deadline.

Who can nominate? Any person who is a member in good standing of an active ESIP. Members can self-nominate on behalf of their organization.

Is an award given every year? The Nominating Committee may choose to not give an award in any particular year. All awardees must be approved by the ESIP Leadership.
