New Blog: Two Waves of Global W”o”rming

Kyungsoo Yoo is a pedologist from the University of Minnesota who studies earthworm impacts on soils and was a 2022 Ignite@AGU speaker. In his guest blog, Yoo builds off his Ignite@AGU talk and digs a little deeper into the invasions spreading beneath our feet.

(This newsletter's photo features one of Yoo's graduate students sampling soils and earthworms in Padjelanta National Park in Sweden.)

The Ignite@AGU 2022 talks were held at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago. Join us this year at the Great American Music Hall in San Fransisco!

Ignite@AGU: Speaker Application is Open

This year, our Ignite@AGU presenters will take the stage at the Great American Music Hall in San Fransisco. Will you be one of them?

Cluster Opportunties

Changes in a Collaboration Area's focus, format, and leadership are part of the healthy life cycle of collaboration. Some projects wind down — a process we call going on hiatus — while others shift under a new direction.

These evolutions are opportunities for participants in the ESIP community to pick up leadership experience or explore new topics.

Currently, three Clusters are seeking new leadership:

If you are interested in joining one of these groups or stepping up as a co-chair, then email ESIP Community Director Megan Carter Orlando: megancarter@esipfed.org

IT&I Rants and Raves: Date Moved to Oct 26
