The ESIP Federation is a community of practitioners. One important aspect of this community is recognizing the important contributions made by members of the ESIP Federation community. Typically, the following awards are given annually.

ESIP is a collaboration among many partner organizations, activities are sponsored by NASA and NOAA and managed by the Foundation for Earth Science.
