Sponsors of the Federation
In response to a 1995 recommendation by the National Research Council, NASA created the Federation of Earth Science Information Partners (“ESIP Federation”) in 1998. Since that time, NASA has been a financial supporter of the ESIP Federation. In 2006, NOAA joined with NASA to become a financial supporter of the ESIP Federation. The ESIP Federation gratefully acknowledges both agencies for their support of its mission.
